Very Cool

I had no idea this happened in downtown Macon. Very cool. I guess this is one downside to living in my secluded, quiet nook of North Macon.

City Market, a block-long row of tents and tables that sets up near the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Poplar Street, had been closed since last fall.

“We’re so glad to be back for another season,” market manager Naomi Davis said. “We’ve had some amazing new vendors come in.”

From now until October, rain or shine, farmers and crafters will sell an assortment of goods from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday.
