It appears that State Rep. Randall Mangham will now NOT host a mediation between the Mayor and City Council of Lithonia, as reported by CrossRoads News.
Mangham said he will not be personally involved but that he has arranged for the State Legislative Council – lawyers who write and interpret laws – to interpret the charter and train Lithonia’s leaders. He said that if they want to change the charter, legislators will look at it in the next legislative session.
On Monday, Councilwoman Doreen Carter called for an April 19 “Comm-Unity Prayer @ The Rock” to pray for unity.
Instead of praying for unity, how about you just pick up the phone and actually talk to the Mayor? What children.
