You know, I wouldn’t want his job. Ugh. You spend all your time doing your constitutional duty to get the budget done, you balance all the interests you can, and then you get pounded by all sides for trying to do what you have to do *and* the newspaper runs a story on how many votes you missed because you were doing what your primary job function was. And yeah, the Chairman’s primary job function is to get the stinkin’ budget done, not to vote on some resolution to honor someone’s grand grand daddy for stellar potty training in an outhouse.
