James Salzer has a humorous article up on the back and forth budget cutting games now under way in the General Assembly.
Kudos, by the way, to Rep. Ben Harbin for cutting the budgets of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. While I support the museums and sat on the Sports Hall of Fame foundation for two years, I believe government museums need to stand up on their own. At the minimum, with the Senate action, they can buy themselves some time to build a game plan. But that game plan needs to happen.
