Georgia Conservative Leadership Academy this weekend

March 27th, 2008 by Chris · 4 Comments

The 4th Annual Georgia Conservative Leadership Academy is this Saturday down at the state capitol. They just added Rep. Tom Price to the speaker’s roster. If you’re interested there are still spaces available.

Its a really good event and well worth the $25. I was there last year and really enjoyed it.

Will Earl and Cousin Sonny be in the same room at the same time?

Let’s see…conservative leadership…is that like teaching up-and-comers how to turn back the clock to, say, the 19th Century? How to be solidly on the wrong side of every humanitarian issue? How to see a need and turn away every time? Oh, and how to select the worst possible people for jobs like Supreme Court justice? And let’s not forget the worship of money above all else. Should be a rolicking time.

I don’t know what they’re teaching ConservativeLeaders® these days, but judging from the current crop of ConservativeLeaders® in power at all levels, I know that the curriculum does not include:

    (1) Free Markets
    (2) Personal Responsibility
    (3) Social Freedom
