Another former Georgia Tech employee has been charged with bilking the school out of thousands of dollars.
Michelle Harris was charged Monday with felony racketeering. Prosecutors say she ran up $173,000 in personal expenses on her state-issued credit card, called a p-card. She faces a prison sentence of up to 20 years, said Attorney General Thurbert Baker.

    The punishment for financial crime are totally inadequate to deter the thefts. It is time for the pendulum to swing back in the direction of the guillotine blade falling.
