You make me laugh, Chris Farris.

You amuse me.

You are ha-ha funny.

BANG!

Is this the 'other shoe dropping" story some 'in-the-know' bloggers @ godekalb.com have obliquely alluded to?

All this means is that the legislators apparently need a raise...say, to $50K a year so they won't be tempted to break the law, right?

Every legislator gets the per diem, regardless of where they live.

As for Mr. Sailer, I certainly agree he should pay some or all of it back for this session.

What's up with that family? Ron Sr. was such a standup guy as a newsman at WSB, and now he's a preacher or pastor or something. How is it that his kids turn out to launder drug money and kill their girlfriends?

"Bow and arrow. Very strange."

I would love to know if he's been getting his salary as a legislator as well as any per diem during this session. He ought to have to pay it back, not just because of his absenteeism but also for his pending criminal charges. This is the type of charge that either you're guilty of or not. He knew that this conviction was coming. Rather than allowing the people in his district to have their voices heard and be represented in the Legislature, he chose to bury his head in the sand.
