The Aging Radical Woman Voter

The above demo (not really found in states like, say, South Carolina) will put Clinton in the White House. From a Gloria Steinem NYT op/ed today:

…thus Iowa women over 50 and 60, who disproportionately supported Senator Clinton, proved once again that women are the one group that grows more radical with age.

You put even Southern (older) women in the privacy of the voting booth and I bet they will linger long and carefully, pondering the vast historical implications of electing a woman President of these United States.

Besides, this critical demo hasn’t developed Alzheimer’s just yet.

There aren’t any vast historical implications. She would be just the first female. That’s pretty much it. The Moon isn’t going to alter its orbit and farm animals aren’t going to start speaking English. Was the UK thrown on its head when the Tory MPs made Thatcher PM? Uh…no! If she is elected her gender will not be relevant to the issues of the day, whatever they are.

    Very classy, SpaceyG!

I don’t have time to read the NYT article right now, but how on earth is it “radical” to vote for Hillary Clinton? She was by far the least radical choice among the top candidates. Unless the Times still thinks it’s “radical” to vote for a chick.

They are saying that the arse-kkklowns who interrupted Hillary’s speaking by hollering “iron my shirt” got Ms. Clinton a pretty good bounce in New Hampshire.

The thing I’ve always liked most about the Clintons is they way they make you pig morons look even more piggish and moronic.

Good point Bubba. If you’re a Democrat and you want to vote for the least radical choice in the Primary, then your choice would be the establishment candidate: Hillary Clinton.

Buzz, I know this requires the kind of analysis that southron morons are incapable of, but what kind of people do you think listen to a radio show like that?

I will bet you British pounds to Bush dollars that the demographic is middle-aged whiny white men – the same demographic that the GOP appeals to.

    And the Klan, too.

Basically, the kind of kkklowns that think that the stunt was funny are your typical Georgia GOPer.

In fact, call all your GOP/Klan buddies and ask them if’n they didn’t think that shirt stunt was real funny.

Hmm…I’m not sure about that, Rogue. Seems to me that George Orwell had it right in Animal Farm if left-wingers like Hillary get elected.
