Hillary stages a huge comeback; wins New Hampshire

Two major news organizations, NBC News and the Associated Press are projecting that Hillary Rodham Clinton, the junior Senator from New York, has won the New Hampshire Democratic primary.

Clinton’s apparent victory in the “First in the Nation” primary demonstrates a remarkable comeback after many major polls showed her trailing Illinois Sen. Barack Obama by as many as thirteen points in the days leading up to the Granite State’s contest.

Now the question on everyone’s mind is how did she do it?

…What do y’all think happened?

Why did the pollsters hit so far off the mark in regards to New Hampshire?

And finally, what impact does this have on Georgia?

By the way, I’m excited that Mac is Back!

All I know is that all of those pollsters who predicted an Obama rout are going to be hung up by their thumbs tomorrow morning! Who paid the bills for those polls? Absolutely worthtless!! AP just called it for Shrillary…unbelievable.

  2. Still Looking says:

The Democratic race is as open as the GOP. Nothing gets decided until Super Tuesday.

African-American women in South Carolina will have a strong say in who will be the Democratic nominee.

Hillary made a brilliant move when she held the emotional press conference. The political pundits and John Edwards played right into her hands by criticizing her. She knew how to get the women vote back.

I do not like Hillary at all but was extremely angry at Edwards comments. He alluded to Hillary being weak because she cried. If I were a Democrat, she would have gotten my vote out of anger.

Women don’t see crying as a sign of weakness like men do. Women cry when they are glad, sad and mad. If you see tears start to flow from an angry woman, then you had better back off as fast as you can because an explosion is about to take place..

    Sexism still exits….

  4. sndeak says:

Soooo…let me get this straight. HRC had a 14 point lead in New Hampshire 10 days ago and she wins by 3 p;oint last night and that is a comeback?

  5. Clint Austin says:

This whole thing smells. “Impromptu” tears at an event followed by “renegade” men yelling for her to iron their shirt at an event later that day.

Kind of like when Bill Clinton “found” some rocks on the beach at Omaha and “impromptu” made a cross from the rocks – and it was later found his staff put the rocks there and briefed him on it.

    These Clintonistas are Machiavelli re-incarnate…

  6. GOPeach says:

Hillary knows her base is LGBT and women over 50! These folks relate to emotion, hormones, and well…. warm fuzzies…. Something different from the hard cold men our there drawing blood.

  7. GOPeach says:

The Democrats are quite a show to watch —

    Hillary playing the “Girl Card”
    Obama playing the “Race Card”
and John Edwards playing the “Country Boy Card”

If Hillary wins – The Indigo Girls will be hot.
If Obama wins – Usher will be hotter.
If John Edwards wins – Alan Jackson will be hot – real hot!! wheeew

  8. Goldwater Conservative says:

I think that is a pretty petty way of thinking about this GOPeach. The GOP is doing the same thing, but with different bases. If anything is really certain about the candidate labels it is that the evangelical GOP candidate, whoever ends up getting that label (it will change week to week, and people will still fall for it)…probably will not be able to win a General Election against Obama or Clinton. The gen. election will not be decided on life and terrorism…it will probably be economy and accountability.

  9. GOPeach says:

Okay let’s get back to reality …. on the GOP side:

If MAC wins – Frank Sinatra will be hot.
If MITT wins – The Osmond Brothers will be hot.
If MIKE wins – The Allman Brothers will be hot!

    Hummmm The ALLMAN BROTHERS !!!

  10. Romegaguy says:

The renegade guys were actually part of a Boston radio show that Fred Toucher (formally of 99x in Atlanta) has.
