  I don’t think Parcells is a good front office guy anyway. Let me tell you … the last thing that the Falcons need is ANOTHER big ego moving the chess pieces.

  Well, let’s see:

  Option A: Come to Atlanta, where despite global warming it’s still cold as crap in the winter, and hotter than the surface of Venus in the summer (not to mention no water to cool off with), with an NFL owner who’s “way too involved” (if you believe Petrino) and players who rally to the defense of a guy who bankrolled systematic animal abuse for the purposes of gambling.

  Option B: The Beach.

  Sounds pretty cut and dry to me. I’d pick the Beach over just about anything.

  Well the rumor mill is swirling about how it appears that Parcells may have used the Falcons and ESPN in order to get the job he really wanted which was with Miami. He plays with the Blank, tips off ESPNs Chris Mortensen that he is almost definite to take the Falcon job and then, most likely, received a phone call from Huizenga saying that he would give him whatever he wants. This is pretty evident especially given that Parcells home is in Jupiter, Florida so we shouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t play Blank and the Falcons for fools. He’s done it before, he’s just a respectable Petrino.
