Clark Howard – How Can A Brand New City Council Serve You Best?

Watching my City of Atlanta neighborhood association elect the same ‘ole, same ‘ole leadership last night, not that they’re not offering dazzling guidance for us here in the absolutely gridlocked by traffic caused by insane development schemes and dreams ‘hood off of

  1. Rick Day says:

I fantasize that a Mayor Howard’s first act is to eliminate said neighborhood associations. My second is to order said neighborhood associations to pay retribution for their evil delaying and attack tactics.

These ‘advisory boards’ are rife with old people with old ideas about how to deal with new times. They do more harm than good, and actually contribute nothing but negative fiduciary flow on those forced by The System ™ to kiss collective crusty ass.

I once had a bit of faith in the process (“K”), but since then, once I viewed how easy it is to manipulate members of the board (such as “K”) with slander and libelous accusations, that faith was snuffed out like a candle in the wind.

If I didn’t like my council-critter (K. Hall) so much I’d probably run too. But the biddy hens would probably continue to cluck, hunt n peck at every little stone they overturn, and nothing would change.

Sorry to have disappointed you so much, Rick, and I understand where you’re coming from. I was pretty disappointed with what happened on your side, as well, however.

Not to worry, however, I won’t be coming back next year. Too much hassle for a working dad to keep up with.
