Bearer of bad news.

I’m sorry to say that with 95% of the precincts reporting, it appears Bull Moose will not win. Sorry Bull, but kudos for giving it your best.

Also drjay lost by a single miserable vote. Sorry to hear that as well.

You mean Clint got beat by a Girl that doesn’t even blog on Peach Pundit? Was she a Democrat too?

1 Vote! Geeze, what would you do differently next time Jay?

Bull Moose, it is Savannah’s loss not yours. You would have been a great Alderman.
Reagan lost the first time he ran for President…

Try again

well, i suppose my race is technically not over yet–i am suppose to talk to the city clerk today to discuss my options before the results are official–there may or may not be a couple of provisional ballots to look at–so i’ll keep you posted…

Jay, ASK FOR A RECOUNT!! It is just too close not to.

Bullmoose - You did a great job and the sky is the limit for whatever you want to do next.

And Bull Moose was the only real conservative in the race, - a consistent, principled conservative.

Maybe he started sprinting.

Aw, Bull, I’m sorry to hear about the results. It sucks.

Dr. Jay, let us know what happens!

o.k. here is how things are shaking out–oddly enough a neighbor of mine was not allowed to vote last nite–when he got his new license back in the spring he inquied about getting his voter registration changed as well–he says he was told no worries its done automatically–then yesterday he was told he was not registered to vote in pooler–he tried to get a provisional ballot so he could try to get everything cleared up and was told he could not have one. he is very fired up about this–he has been to the election board today–he is demanding to be able to vote–he feels screwed out of his right to vote by a clerical error–he is contacting his attorney–he may call the sec of state–i don’t know much about election law–so i do not know if he has a leg to stand on–but this vote, his vote, would put me in a runoff. i am till waiting for the regular certification process to see how to proceed as well–this has been something else…

Keep us posted Jay. I’ve been wondering all day what was going on.

Bull Moose 11.07.07 at 4:43 pm

Bull Moose here. Thanks everyone, I was dissapointed in the results, but respect the wishes of the voters.

DR. Jay - recount! That is a must. From there, verification of votes cast by eligible voters. Don’t give up! I will do what I can to help you, just give me one day to lick my wounds and rebound.

Thanks to everyone here that believed in me. I may have lost this one, but there will be other opportunities to serve in the future and I will be ready.

As long as their are Demoncrats who run election boards, there will always be voter fraud in this state, whether by faking voters or denying voters.

Ahhhh man. I am like totally bummed now. Too bad, BM. You gave it all the internal fiber you had to give I know. Better luck next time. I’m gonna have to go watch the Hapless Knight YouRube video again to perk myself up.

But welcome back to the blogosphere, eh?
