It’s the old analogy of watching a train wreck in slow motion. Hopefully Shafer and Co. can provide legislation to take Grady private and help renegotiate the debt. Vincent Fort isn’t going to solve anything, I can tell you that much.

Never heard of Cocola University being a yankee school before. Might account for its top 20 academic ranking (17th).
Tech is 35th, UGA 59th…

I wish the power company would stop screwing me by shipping power into my house causing me to incur the debts for it every month.
I notice that Sen. Shafer and the other group of people have had access to the Emory-Grady-whistleblower legal papers for, what, a couple of weeks now, and the huge revelations have failed to come so far. If there was a big, obvious fraud that was being covered up, or if there was anything that could be twisted to look like that in the absence of further information, I’m fairly sure one of them would have publicized it by now. I’m starting to wonder if there might be a reasonable interpretation of the activities of Emory, Grady, and the federal authorities who have also failed to bring charges, despite having full access to one whistleblower.
I do some neuroscience research at Emory occasionally, but I’m probably a yankee anyway, since I’ve lived in north Alabama despite being from south Alabama originally.
