Gov to Business: Cut Your Water

Gov. Sonny Perdue ordered north Georgia businesses and utilities to cut water usage by 10 percent on Tuesday in a move designed to conserve more of the state’s dwindling water supply during an epic drought.

    It is starting. The cut downs on water consumption and if no signifcant rain comes by January. The Army Corp of Engineers will drain Lake Lanier. Georgia will look like most of Nevada . If that happens. Georgia’s First Dry Bed Lake.

    Hey, Maybe in 100,000 or 200,000 years from now. Georgia might be dessertious. That would be something to ponder.

    more realistically 10,000 years from now. Georgia might be a dessertious climate. Every Area that is desertious now like Las Vegas and The Saharra Dessert were forresty, lush and had lot of rain 10,000 – 30,000 years ago. These desserts were formed from years of severe droughts and shift in temperatures.
