Quin Hillyer of The American Spectator Blog defends Erick and Jim Marshall from Jane Hamsher’s vicious attacks:
Erickson, of course, is perfectly capable of defending himself and of putting a mirror up to Hamsher’s own record of hatefulness. He notes, for instance, Hamsher’s execrable tactic of doctoring a photo of Joe Lieberman to make it look like Lieberman is in blackface. And that’s just the tip of the hate-berg for Hamsher and/or Firedoglake. Just lat night at 7:52 p.m., for example, consider this absolutely sick, demented, vicious, callous reference to the late Terry Schiavo. The outrageous reference to Schiavo (no matter what one’s position on that case, making fun of the poor woman is hateful beyond belief) comes in a post mocking conservatives’ “culture of life.” The post is full of invective and absolute nutcase references to thoroughly discredited reports of a million (!!!) From the Right and from the Left. All you people do is attack each other. If you spent as much energy on objectively looking at the problems facing our country as you do on bringing each other down, politicizing….every…single….issue, name calling, and falsely claiming to be the victim, you might be able to solve a handful of issues.
This post reminds me of the childhood playground when we got in trouble and explained to the accusing adult: “Well he started it first!”

People who go into politics rarely do so to make a positive difference for anyone other than themselves. This includes the dung beetles of politics, the political operatives.
Should we be surprised about this behavior from such a lowly form of life?

shhh, we’re in the middle of the first annual, mutual admiration society, peer review and are planning a retreat to resolve it all, once and for all. no firearms allowed… everyone must stay in one room til they resolve their differences or pee in their pants…

Guys, I know the Marshall vote was a big deal, but by mentioning this lady over and over in the posts, you just give her more attention. Totally not what you want to do, is it?
