I was distracted by my two year old

And couldn’t make it out to this forum, but I certainly appreciate the Lt. Gov. coming down to Macon for this.

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle talked taxes, transportation, education and economic development when he stopped in Macon on Thursday for a town hall meeting at the Bibb County courthouse.

Cagle, a former state senator who made history in 2006 when he became the first Republican elected to the state’s second highest office, came to the midstate area as part of a series of meetings he is conducting around the state this fall to sound out Georgians about the issues that are important to them.

  1. Doug Deal says:

Darn, I wanted to go to that, but the Bibb County communications network is non-existant.

Is there any chance of getting a functional Bibb County GOP, and maybe one that doesn’t put up with this website?

  2. Did Casey have a vision for the Georgia Banking Industry or backup plan in case we had the horrific economic experience of “absence of war?”

$86.7 million Miami Valley Bank Closes. $62 million in “FDIC insured deposits” transferred to The Citizens Banking Company of Sandusky, Ohio.

Shares of Alpharetta Georgia’s NetBank Inc., an Internet bank closed at four pennies per share. The government shut the bank down after too many borrowers defaulted on their mortgages.

    3) This is where your banking fees go:

U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management is launching a $25 MILLION NATIONAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN spotlighting the changing profile of wealthy individuals and families.

but never fear, we have war machinery to buy from china and sell in america and someone is fixin to “squeeze the shorts,” which will make the market go up, so more yahoo suckers can buy in, so it can go back down again.

october is such an interesting month.

dang doug, even i knew casey was in town…
