Have you heard anything lately on Robert Brown’s health? He’s such a private guy, but I’ve heard a rumor that he’s in hospice, but no one’s been able to confirm that. I know he’s not your favorite guy, but I thought maybe you’ve heard something in and around Macon.

If Ellis does challenge Marshall for the 8th district, Marshall might as well run for the senate. There’s no need for him to spend about $1 million dollars on a primary & then turn around & raise another $million dollars against Goddard or possibly Collins if he runs again ( which I think he would be the nominee over Goddard if he does ) just to fight to save a seat that can go either way. Because you know that if Ellis were to declare he’s running groups like Dalikkos, Moveon.org & other liberal groups would give hundreds of thousands & dollars to Ellis. I think Marshall would have a easier time running for the senate that for the 8th district.
