You win, Bull Moose, congrats.

Yes, Tom Delay is talking about the Balkan effort. My how the tables turn when in the exact same circumstances with a Republican President.

Delay and the Repukelicans are hypocrites!

Hmmm, link was working fine last night. You can see the Clinton clip here though, although its placement on this page is subject to change throughout the day, so you might have to scroll about for it later on. Right now, it's front and center and top:

IMHO MoveOn is a tool of the Republicans.

Whenever the Repubs require something to re-foam the lips of their fanatic base, they get MoveOn to spew outrageous 'lets wave some red flags in these bulls faces' tactic.

Who benefited from and who advertised the existence of more?

Oh. That. Would. Be. You. Conservatives (tm)

So..why are you, who benefited the most from this hubris of this tactic, frikkin whining?

(sadly shakes head) Tools and pawns, the lot of ye!

I am sick of people trying to equate the Chambliss campaign ad to the MoveOn.org NYT ad.

Let me just make this perfectly clear: Max Cleland voted over and over again to hold up the Department of Homeland Security in an attempt to make sure even more of our federal bureaucracy would be beholden to big labor bosses. He could have stood up to his party leadership but he didn't. And so he rightly paid a price at election time.

Last time I checked, General Petraeus isn't running for anything. He is just doing his dead level best to achieve victory for America in Iraq. So let's be honest about the differences in these two situations.

Yeah, that was a terrible ad. How dare it expose that Cleland was holding up national security measures on behalf of union goons.

You're missing a key fact: Cleland was a politician being taken to task for saying one thing in Georgia and voting a different way in Washington. MoveOn called a 4-star General a liar and a traitor.

Yep.

A great soliquy from the "King of Crocodile Tears" himself.

I'd be "touched", if not so amused.

Everyone remembers Clinton at some funeral while President, all choking back tears for the news camera, then being caught seconds later, walking off with someone laughing, as if he had just come out of a theatre.

Hillary just wishes she was half as smooth.

The only reason she helped build his persona, is to hopefully use it for her own power trip.
