Good news

Very good news.

State Rep. Tony Sellier came through surgery well Tuesday, and initial tests show the lumps removed from his lung are not malignant, his wife said.

Sellier, R-Fort Valley, is recovering at The Medical Center of Central Georgia and awaiting further pathology tests on the two tumors taken from his lung. But his wife, Judye Sellier, said the freshman legislator is looking good and that the initial frozen biopsies were all negative.

Tony is a very hard worker and it’s good to see he’s well.

He was a Landmark client (Gabriel Sterling’s) in the election last year and we all noticed that he worked and executed like no other.

We’re glad that things have turned out well. He’s a real asset for middle Georgia at the Capitol, especially on agriculture issues.

This is good news. Tony and Judye are both great people. Having worked with them on Tony’s first election (he was a client at Landmark), I can tell you he has done a lot with his life before deciding to enter public service. He has been a leader for years with the American Cancer Society and during the last BRAC he served as Chairman of the Middle Georgia Military A ffairs Committee.

I will continue to pray for their family. In the meantime, I am again happy to hear the masses were not malignant.
