In what surely must be the shortest political press release ever written (and released), Democratic Party of Georgia Chairwoman Jane Kidd had this to say today about the Alberto Gonzales resignation: “It’s about time.”

Unrelated, but..somebody tell me what’s with all these Republicans getting busted for gay sex escapades? This Craig guy.. wide stance or not, the party that claims to “Defend Traditional Marriage” is becoming more and more hypocritical by the week!

Maybe Bush will replace Gonzales with Harriet Miers now. After all, she IS the “smartest person” Bush knows.
