Good for Council

They’ve passed an ordinance that would prohibit the Mayor from using taxpayer funds to travel to Venezuela or pretty much any other country.

The Macon City Council on Tuesday approved an ordinance that prevents city money from being spent on travel to foreign countries that the U.S. State Department says are not fully cooperative in counterterrorism efforts.

    They should have stopped RIGHT there. To go farther took the decision out of the realm of fiscal responsibility, and into the realm of petty politics.
