    I agree with Jason that it is a great read. It provides a good intellectual underpinning to much of what libertarian leaning conservatives believe.

    The problems I have with Bastiat are too numerous to count.

    That said, the man was brilliant. Wrong most of the time, but brilliant.

    And I will spare everyone from the obligatory, “what does this have to do with Georgia” by not saying “what does this have to do with Georgia”.

    Statements such as “what does this have to do with Georgia” need not be said.
