Got Multimedia?

Well use it, darnnit all!

The DNC knew from at least January 2004 that the Iraq War was going to be a major issue. Most commentators were the summer of 2003.

So why on earth did the DNC not discover and secure a copy of this videotape at some point between the invasion of Iraq in May 2003 and the election in November 2004?

Or at the very least why did they not secure a transcript of Cheney’s utterly damaging words.

Imagine the impact …

Between dot-commers doing unoriginal lypsynching music videos and Dick Cheney interviews, you’re definitley the hands-down frontrunner for the “Most Irrelevant Posts” award. I’d say about 1/4 of your topics have any relevance at all to Georgia politics.

It’s great you’re really into YouTube, but maybe you should find a “Funny YouTube Video” blog and try to secure front page posting privileges on it.

  2. I read somewhere that at one time the Roman Catholic Church believed the world to be flat. I guess their change of position based on “new” scientific evidence would fall in this same category as a “flip-flop”?

    Wow,

    atlman, jsm, and Raymond:

Are you insane? This is the same guy who told us that invading Iraq and replacing it with a democracy would be easy in 2003. All of these reasons he lists off in the video for not invading Iraq are actually happening/happened. Ok, so maybe he is allowed to change his mind. But why are you giving him a pass on conveniently forgetting all these compelling potential problems once he actually goes for it? You’d think if you had the foresight to guess all these potential problems about a decade out, that would give you plenty of time to plan for it, right? Wait, I guess changing your mind means forgetting all sorts of pertinent facts that might keep you up at night, and we couldn’t have that, could we? Your three responses to that video are ridiculous, especially in light of his conclusion. “It’s just not worth that many American lives to take down Saddam Hussein.” Well, ok Dick, maybe, but I’d really like to know what changed to make it worth 4,000. People like you three are responsible for letting these maniacs get away with what they are doing to our country.

I wonder how much this guy sold his soul for?

Yeah, media has no relevance to politics, nor politics to media. Your brilliance never met a boundary it didn’t salute, ATLdude. Pity.

I don’t think the Huffington Post ever placed a high premium on rational, fact based appeals to logic.

Provocation. When this video was made, Cheney didn’t think we had good enough reason to take out Saddam (I think we did.). Once the planes hit the towers, the arguments for taking out Saddam grew immensely. You people act like times don’t change.

    Rick,
The ‘pussies’ are those who don’t have the nads to stick it out on a necessary mission. We’ve won every battle and skirmish, yet the weak-kneed libs want to forfeit and come home–just like Vietnam. This is what we get for electing flower children.

Really? Sadaam was involved with 9/11? Oh wait, he wasn’t.

We should have taken out Sadaam and I still support the war. But to claim that an Islamic terrorist attack that was linked more to Saudi Arabia than a secular Arab is preposterous. Bin Laden and Hussein aren’t and weren’t even allies for god’s sake!

I would say that the RNC & The DNC have been pretty much controled by the Masons over the years.

Why look right here in Cobb County –
    (D) Sen. Steve Thompson – 33 degree mason and (R) Sheriff Neil Warren – a 33 degree mason ALSO!

I have seen them do the little secret handshake thingy before at the Corn Boiling… They think nobody is on to them.

    ( rolling eyes) sheeeeeeze
