Hold your breath outside today, folks.

Here in Macon, it’s just like walking through a swimming pool today. In Atlanta, it’s like walking through a sewer.

When you can see the air outside, you know that’s not good.

That certainly will be true in metro Atlanta today, when taking a breath could be hazardous to your health.

For the third consecutive day, the city will be under a Code Red alert. That means air pollution is expected to hit levels that are unhealthy for almost everyone.

It’s going to be a bad one today folks. Driving in, I could literally see the greenish/brownish haze sitting over Atlanta. I’m so thrilled that I get to breath this stuff in.

And I will also offer my condolences to the people of Macon! I was there all day this past Saturday and it was godawful miserable.

Ah! The South in August. God bless you Mr. Carrier!
