HR7246: Be it resolved, that whereas tea cooled with ice and sweetened with sugar is delicious, and whereas said beverage, heretofore after referred to as “sweet tea,” is enjoyed by millions across the great nation of the United States of America, especially inhabitants of the great state of Georgia, where sweet tea is superlative in rendering bearable the hot days of the summer season, the House of Representatives of the United States of America does declare in the affirmative that this body as a whole looks in favor upon the consumption of sweet tea. Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., submitted this day June 27, 2006.
