It’s like children with divorced parents

Just talked to someone dealing with the budget situation between the Governor and the Legislator. The person said the agencies were like children with divorced parents who bicker — which one do you listen to.

They get their allowance from the legislature and the live with the Governor. If they make the legislature angry, no money. They make the Governor mad, their out on the street. At the end of the day, it’s only the people who are going to get hurt by all of this.

I think the Governor and the GOP in the legislature better get on the same page quickly. A house divided cannot stand.

[UPDATE:] A legislator tells me that the issue here is totally one of the Governor’s own making.

The problem is our GOP controlled Legislature is trying to be fiscally conservative and our Gov is a RINO.

    Get my point?

We are not a house divided. We (GOP) have an infiltrator in our midst.

    Tommy,

Totally agree. What is the Governor’s problem??? I’ve heard stories about his temper. Now the citizens of Georgia are hurt by his childish fury.

When the elephants fight, the ants get trampled. Even Sonny can’t be so inept that this fight was anything but by design. Otherwise why make it as in your face as a letter to agency heads and released to the press. He could have done the same thing with private phone calls.
