There are definitley a bunch of reporters outside today. The PSC shares a building with the Supreme Court, so I went into a bit of a panic driving into the garage trying to remember if there was an important vote I was missing.

I think bloggers are making a lot of headway, but it’s still a niche news source. When you’re up against mainstream media it’s the “tree falls in the woods” syndrome.

Man, you guys are better’n Harry Potter for sensing things that aren’t there! Like all the stuff, invisible to Muggles I guess, I wrote in this post about MSM not bothering to cover the appeal, just bloggers being there.

I suppose there has to be a little self-aggrandizing to justify wasting a day at the Supreme Court, but your post was a little over-the-top if not delusional.

I’ve heard plenty about Genarlow Wilson from the MSM and in a timely manner. The public doesn’t need or want to know the level of depth, such as how many times a Justice gets up to go to the bathroom, a realtime blog provides.

I only wish the MSM limited their coverage to a “magazine story three weeks from now”, as it’s cutting into the Michael Vick coverage.

  4. Sara and GriftDrift didn’t waste their time at the Supreme Court. They provided meaningful information for people who wanted an on-the-ground perspective.

    Well Spacey –

I see your point and I think it is a breathe of fresh air! Thanks for bringing awareness.

As much as 80% of bloggers are nuts – it’s still the AMERICAN way and FREEDOM still rings.

You are right about the AJC & CNN —
AKA – ” Atlanta Urinal and Constipation” and the “Communist News Network”!
