He makes it through the summer, barely.

    September 28th.

-about the time folks start leaking their Q3 fundraising numbers.

I think he scales back campaign spending to last unitl the Iowa caucus and gives up when he makes no showing there.

    Icarus – Your high-flying humor celebrates a melt-down – McCain’s.

    ^5 for getting a laugh.

    September 1.

    Bull Moose,

Until about 5 years ago McCain was my #1 choice. He was fiscally conservative, independent of Bush, and dubious over going to war with Iraq.

He doomed himself early by turning largely silent on spending, embracing the Bush gang, and becoming a hawk.

He is done in by factors that will claim the REST OF THEM, only later. The immigration was the final nail for McCain.

Moving in lockstep with this ruinous administration on war and spending will sink the other front runners and Thompson, too.

2006 should have awakened them, but they are in a partisan sleep march headed toward a cliff.

  5. LOL, the end of September strangely enough about the time that Newt is due to announce 🙂

Quite frankly I do not think he is humble enough to drop out. He would instead want a long and miserable run in the primaries. Does anyone still support this guy?
