Get yer pollutin’ outta yer system fast

And stop squealing like pigs. Some environmentalists want to stop you from doing anything to the Conasauga River.

It’s not a bad idea actually. That area of the river is absolutely gorgeous and, to my knowledge, there isn’t any industry up there that’d really be affected anyway.

  1. Now that you’ve learned to pronounce Conasauga River, why not try working on Ocmulgee for a while? See ya tonight, come early & bring the wife & kids… Down the road a bit, you might have to just describe, rather than show the kids what a clean river used to be.

“The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is developing a new comprehensive conservation plan for Bond Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, which is on the Ocmulgee River six miles south of Macon.

The plan will outline management practices and public uses for the 7,348-acre refuge for the next 10 to 15 years.

There will be an open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Ocmulgee National Monument visitors center, 1207 Emery Highway in Macon”
