McCain event.

I attended McCain’s fundraiser in Buckhead today. I promised Bull Moose he could post first so I’ll simply say I’ll be back later with some details. Hopefully I’ll have some audio for your listening pleasure.

Let me put it to you this way — TRAFFIC came to a stand still. It took me a little over three hours to just get to Macon (I’m still here – Hi Erick!)

The problem: traffic on I-75 in Henry County, perhaps a wreck? How in the world do you people put up with this???

Last night the entire Northbound section of 75 was shut down and it took several hours before they rerouted traffic.

DOT seems to think the traffic problems are north of Int 20 since the south side gets the lowest priority in highway funding. Sorry you got stuck, but we fight that battle in Atlanta every session.

  3. I75 – one hour from Griffin to Locust Grove. 9 miles…

Georgia Department of Transportation & State Legislature contacts below. Linnenkohl suspended email at GDOT to avoid hearing the complaints. If everyone would program these 7 Gentlemen’s phone numbers into their cell phones and phone Harold Linnenkohl et al every time you get stuck in Georgia Traffic, things might begin to improve, then again, i’m a dreamer.:
