My Fathers Place

Somehow I missed this review of My Father’s Place in Warner Robins, GA. It’s home to the best pizza anywhere around Middle Georgia — they make their own flour and everything is so fresh and delicious.

I’ll be spending my birthday there this weekend. It’s also very family friendly. No beer with the pizza there, just a coke. But man is it worth it. It’s just over 30 minutes from our house and way worth the trip.

I went there this past Saturday with my fiance. I sat right next to the Cincinnati Enquirer headline of Pete Rose breaking Ty Cobb’s record, which brought back a bit of nostalgia for where I grew up.

The pizza was excellent, and the value is hard to beat. The health score was in the 70’s, which can be a bad sign, but it could have just been a bad day, as there previous one was 91. Maybe next time I will see what they were hit for.

The sauce was sweet, which I like and they offer at least three different types of crusts, from cracker thin to pan pizza. We had the italian stalion, which comes with a medium crust.

I highly recommend it, as it really is a “mom and pop” pizza place, far above those nasty chains that people in Atlanta seem to crave.
