Governor Perdue will sign the bill. Senator Shafer has the details.

That’s good for Georgia.

I’m curious, just how many people will RUN fleeing from Comcast?

Sign me up as one of the first. Comcast has abused its customers for too long.

Competition is GOOD! We need MORE of it!

If my hatred for Charter ever exceeds my hatred of all things BellSouth I might consider ATT. In the interim I hope it makes Charter a better cable provider.

There is no possible way AT&T can be worse than charter. I could easily write a 20 page report on how charter screwed me over, and the said thing is most of the people I know could write the same. Hopefully competition starts immediately.

Charter keeps telling me they don’t have DVRs … despite the fact that when I go to their office, I see them handing those things out like candy.

Chris,
I hate to point out the obvious, but BellSouth in now ATT.

Jmac,

There is a waitlist for the DVRs, I’ve been on it for like a year. Also, get bellsouth and direct tv. They have tons of dvrs.

Can we get Bellsouth or Comcast to deliver VoIP in the Savannah area now?

I am always for a free market. I only wonder why it took so long for free competition to occur in this area of the market.

As for the DVR’s, the free market will ensure that they will be available quickly.

(And remember, you can always buy a DVR and the DVR service directly from TIVO)
