Georgia GOP State Convention Schedule.

Bumped back to the top since the State Convention starts today. BTW, you can keep up with what I’m doing by clicking here or here. The vote for First Vice Chairman takes place tomorrow, so I’ll be campaigning hard today (and tomorrow).

actually do we know of any other parties or events–iirc–the last couple of conventions i attended had hospitality rooms sponsored by a variety of folks–you colud sort of wander from party to party on friday nite

The Georgia Young Republicans will be hosting a “Rock the House” Party (ie rock the libs out of the US House) starting at midnight. We will have a live rock band and some really pounding music. The actual house we will be rocking will be Buzz’s, then we all plan to crash there. The CRs are co-sponsoring. Buzz, make sure you let your wife know we’re coming so she can get the keg!!!

Let’s work on it for next year Clint. The Gwinnett Civic Center was a little expensive for all of the times I wanted to do. Next year we, in theory, will rotate to Macon and things are a bit cheaper. Hopefully the GFYRC will then host the blowout party of the convention!

well let me go on record as strongly encouraging any would be congressmen, current congressmen, lobby groups, or otherinterested parties to rent suites at the hotels near the convention independant of any “sanctioning” by the state party and make these suites known to the delegates to enhance the delegates ability to score munchies and a beer and you know hear you out or whatever, and i thank you in advance…

Shep, that would be a first.

  7. JRM2016 says:

Rob Doll will have a hospitality suite at the Marriott. Check signage at the hotel and convention center for details. I will post the room info once I have it.

  8. Andre Walker says:

To quote Peter Griffin from “Family Guy”,

“There’s nothing like a party at someone else’s house. You never have to worry about cleaning up the mess!”
