McCain’s Political Director Steps Down

At the risk of upsetting Bull Moose, I decided this deserved to be posted.   Is this a reshuffling to get ready for the rigors of a full blown campaign?  Only time will tell…

National Journal’s Hotline reports:

John McCain’s national political director, Michael P. Dennehy, will step away from day-to-day duties at the campaign, telling associates today that his family obligations conflicted with his arduous, 24/7 political job in Washington, D.C.

Dennehy, a gregarious, high-energy member of McCain’s inner circles for years, will return with his family to New Hampshire…

McCain aides said Dennehy’s departure is not related to other, peformance-related staff reshuffles, including the decision to replace McCain’s longtime chief finance aid.

Oh, and free Bull Moose.

“The Moose is down!” Repeat “The Moose is down” Bring back the Moose to the front page.

I’m not saying that this news is the result of Bull Moose losing his front page privileges…but someone else might.

I respectfully request to have my front page privileges reinstated! I will not abuse them, you can trust that.

And Candidate Erickson isn’t the only person considering a run for City Council.
