As Erick mentioned, Governor Perdue is hinting at vetoing the budget. The Political Insider suggests it’s a threat meant to encourage the Legislature to “fix the problems” in the budget. I hope it is just a threat and a special session is not in the cards.
This begs the question of what exactly does the Governor want fixed? The entire budget process involving the House, Senate and now the Governor, seems to suffer from a serious lack of communication….or leadership.
