Another veto threat?

Another bill that could face a veto is HB 91, which requires agencies within the executive branch to provide an annual report to the legislature contracts of $50k or more. It also requires a “list of any employment or consultant contracts, whether or not in writing, under which the employee or consultant is to be compensated more than $20,000.00.” The bill also requires the State Auditor to supply the information to the legislature and I believe the information will be setup for the public to view online, similar to the financial reports for candidates for state office.

It seems like HB 91 would provide transparency to citizens, but I’m hearing rumors that Sonny Perdue (D) (R) (WTF?) is threatening to veto the bill.

I posed a question and got no answers on a previous thread, so I’ll repeat it.

Is Governor Perdue one of those party-hopper RINO’s?

    Bower-

Actually Gov. Purdue jumped off the Dem boat
when they went Pro-gay and Pro- death to the unborn. He knew that was not the way the G-O-D
Grand Old Democrats were supposed to vote-

He was a DINO at first- then became a Republican. He is PRO-LIfe and that go my vote.

My question was not a serious question deserving of a serious answer, It was meant as a pun. It was in response to the spin….(D) (R) (WTF?).

    GOPeach,

Yeah, because the pro-life is issue is the ONLY issue to determine who should get your support. If Stalin was pro-life, that fringe vociferous minority of the GOP that drives away voters en masse would hail him as a “true conservative” leader.

Is there ANYTHING else that you guys care about (besides costing Republicans elections?)
