Blogger Day at the Capitol

Today, I received an e-mail from state Rep. Earl Ehrhart regarding the Blogger Capitol Tour.

For those who are interested, Rep. Ehrhart has it on his schedule for this Friday, April 13 at 10a.m. to provide Georgia bloggers with the “50 cent tour” of the Capitol (just for a little bit of trivia, what movie did I pull the line “50 cent tour” from?).

Space is limited, however, to ten 9 people (we won’t be having any Six Flags/Q100 moments at the Capitol); so it’s imperative, if you want to get in on this Friday’s blogger tour, to give Rep. Ehrhart’s assistant, Sheila Raney, a call at (404) 656-5141.

Also, depending on how this Friday’s tour goes, there may be another in the works.

Since this thread has been hijacked, I will take the liberty.

When I was 7-8 years of age and residing in Moultrie, in deep south Georgia, my younger brother and I became greatly enthralled in a verbal fray among the neighborhood boys, our friends.

One of the opposing young lads decided that he would mount a verbal protest with my mom regarding our dispute. My response “My mom won’t do anything about that.” Unfortunately for me, my mom heard my proclamation.

As I approached my home, my mom summoned me into our house. Mom stated, “You’re right, I won’t do anything about that, but I will do something about you putting our family business in the street, our business is none of their business.”

So, before I mounted my latest project among friends and family, I weighed whether or not it would set well in the family and whether it was worth putting our business in the street.

Since it is a tour for bloggers can someone turn it into a virtual tour for those of us who won’t be able to make it?
