And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched him there; And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
. . . .
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

I love children’s tales…
Since you satisfied the Christian side of my family Erick, I will pay homage to my family’s Jewish roots and add for Passover: “Obey these instructions as a lasting ordinance for you and your descendants. When you enter the land that the LORD will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony. And when your children ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ then tell them, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the LORD, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’ ” Then the people bowed down and worshiped. The Israelites did just what the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron.”
- Exodus 12:24-28
“I love children’s tales…”
Tell that to God when you stand before Him.
jsm, let it lie. Don’t give him an excuse to call you “closed minded” and “intolerant” for responding angrily to his very open-minded, tolerant, and constructive insulting of your religion.
Remember, its the leftists who preach to us about their tolerance.
He is risen! Happy Easter and to my Jewish friends, have a great Passover.
I think that was lovely Jason!
At our Passover Table, we present the Seder egg,
decorated with crosses and the words, ” He is Risen!”
We believe that BECAUSE of the death, burial and ressurection of Yeshuah ( Jesus), the angel
of eternal death, has PASSED over us and we
NOW have ETERNAL LIFE in the Messiah Jeaus!
As for children’s tales… AMEN!~
We teach our children to trust in the God of
Abraham, Issac, and Jacob… God in human
flesh – Jesus- the Christ.
He IS risen!
( “IS” is a present tense verb).
*Jesus
Happy Easter!

Christ the Lord is Risen Today
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!
Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia!
Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia!
Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia!
Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!
King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia!
Everlasting life is this, Alleluia!
Thee to know, thy power to prove, Alleluia!
Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!
Happy Easter, all!
This is a stupid debate to have on a political blog. Grow up.
Aesop’s fables teaches the same morals, but they are more entertaining.
“At our Passover Table, we present the Seder egg,
decorated with crosses and the words, ” He is Risen!””
Christians, please note that at an actual Jewish seder, there is no such practice.
GOPeach’s family celebrates the birth of Christ during Purim.
>>>>Grow up.
Haha — “Federalist,” aren’t you in high school?
??? No, where did you get that from?
Correct, Memberg. Peach’s form and practice of “Judaism” is akin to Scientology being considered a form of Christianity.
