Free Bull Moose

A nice card for Erick

I figured a nice card for Erick might help remind him to reinstate Bull Moose as a front page poster…provided Bull Moose promises to keep the McCain propaganda to 2 or 3 threads a week.

I know my linking skills suck.

The abortion reference is a jab at him cutting off Bull Moose and nothing else.

  • Doug Deal // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:07 am

This thread reminds me of those old “Free Tibet” bumperstickers that were popular about a decade ago. I always wanted to buy one and add a disclaimer at the bottome…

“* With the purchase of a Tibet of equal or greater value.”

  • dingleberry // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:22 am

I would seriously question the judgement of the administrators if Bull Moose was granted front page posting rights…

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:24 am

He had them before and a misunderstanding got them taken away.

Both parties have apologized and Bull has been allowed to post again, but not to post on the front page. If there was no foul, why is BM being penalized?

  • Tommy_a2b // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:30 am

Demon, he is being penalized for his blind support of John McCain.

  • Icarus // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:35 am

    Tommy,

No, God will take care of that.

  • Jason Pye // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:42 am

I know that I have no say in this at all…but I’d vote no.

  • buzzbrockway // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:53 am

Bull is not being penalized for his blind support of McCain. Bull was kicked off because he made a comment re: Erick that was way over the line.

It’s up to Erick, but if he wants to let Bull back I wouldn’t oppose it. I think Bull has spent enough time in the wilderness. Perhaps like Nebuchadnezzar, Bull will come back a changed man. :-)

  • dingleberry // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:57 am

No offense to you Demonbeck, but the fewer people who hide behind pseudonyms with front page privileges, the better.

It’s one thing if you’re an anonymous poster, it’s another if you have the “privilege” of using the front page. With that privlilege should come “balls”.

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 10:58 am

If I am not mistaken, Bull was one of the original front page posters back in the day when PP didn’t get a lot of traffic.

  • GAWire // Mar 26, 2007 at 12:12 pm

Yeah, but Demon, now we’re a big deal, so just like the Zach Morris rock star story, we’ve forgotten our roots and neglected those who got us where we are.

If the domain nobull.com wasn’t taken, I’d have to get it and link to PP.

That’s my wordy way of saying as a front page poster, I vote against the efforts to allow Bull back on the front page. I think Bull (unlike Nebuchadnezzar) has a couple of wild beasts and questionable dreams still to overcome before he comes back a reformed man.

Like every politician, however, I CAN be bought, so depending on how important it is to Bull, he can contact me about possible terms.

Or, this … if Bull admits that John McCain has been the 2nd worst GOP Senator in the past decade (2nd only to Chafee) and he would be the worst possible candidate for the GOP Presidential nomination. Then, he must refuse to support McCain in any way, public or private, and must turn his support to a previously approved (by the rest of the PP posters) candidate.

    Those are my terms.

  • dingleberry // Mar 26, 2007 at 12:18 pm

    Demonbeck,

That’s a good point. Back when Bull was posting, Peach Pundit didn’t get a lot of traffic. Now that he’s gone, it gets tons of traffic. Why would we ever go back?

  • Bull Moose // Mar 26, 2007 at 12:49 pm

Jason Pye, what did I do to you?
GAWire, you didn’t let me down!
Dingleberry, I’m not sure I know you!

Bull Moose wants to return to the team of front page posters.

And for the record, I do not plan any McCain propaganda posts.

  • dingleberry // Mar 26, 2007 at 12:54 pm

Bull Moose wants to return to the team of front page posters.

Referring to himself/herself in the third person…yet another reason to vote against Bull Moose in ‘07.

  • Doug Deal // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:12 pm

He was having a Bob Dole moment.

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:15 pm

    GAWire,

    Second worst GOP Senator?

    Olympia Snowe says hello.

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:15 pm

And I cannot believe there have been no comments about Erick’s card.

  • Bull Moose // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:19 pm

The funniest Bob Dole story is when he was a guest character on The Simpsons… Anyone see that? Second Funniest when SNL did the Bob Dole / Real World Skit “That’s Bob Dole’s Chair!”

Worse GOP Senator - Conrad Burns!

  • ugavi // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:45 pm

    Bring back BullMoose!

  • Doug Deal // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:45 pm

Don’t forget about Voinivich, or however you spell his name. If DeWine was still in office I would add him as well.

  • whitemalevoters // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:46 pm

No more bull s***. No more Bull Moose.

  • Jeff Emanuel // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:47 pm

All I’ve seen since the axing is the same lines being repeated ad nauseam in the comments — in other words, vintage BM.

What would you bring to the FP, Bull?

  • Chris Farris // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:48 pm

Those retards in Alaska are way above McCain for worst GOP Senator. Indicted Murtoski and “Bridge to Minority/Tubes” Stevens are a disgusting embarrassment to this party.

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 1:51 pm

I am surprised by whitemalevoters’ stance on this subject.

Bull Moose is and always has been a whitemalevoter.

  • rugby_fan // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:09 pm

    Demonbeck, are you “whitemalevoters”?

    The card is fantastic too.

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:13 pm

While I am a white male voter, rugby, my spacebar works. Therefore, I should not be mistaken for the genius that is whitemalevoter.

I wish I had thought of it though.

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:13 pm

Thanks for the card comment as well rugby, I had been waiting some time to use it inappropriately.

  • GAWire // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:16 pm

    >>”"”What would you bring to the FP, Bull?”"”

Yeah, and what monetary value do you bring to the other front page posters (i.e. bribes, pay-offs, etc), Bull?

  • GAWire // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:17 pm

Demon, nice card. Reminded me to get an anniversary present!

  • Jeff Emanuel // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:19 pm

Yeah, and what monetary value do you bring to the other front page posters (i.e. bribes, pay-offs, etc), Bull?

Or to admins? Even higher payoff, I hope?

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:22 pm

Is it legal in Georgia to use deer genitalia to bait Bull Moose for the purposes of hunting him.

If not, which type of deer genitalia would attract a Bull Moose?

Why would deer genitalia attract him in the first place?

Does Bull Moose taste like venison?

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:23 pm

Am I getting a payoff for even bringing up the idea?

  • dingleberry // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:26 pm

    White Male Voters,

Did you guys decide to sit the 2006 congressional election out or something?

Back to the Bull Moose thread: The answer to all of your questions is NOTHING. Bull Moose has about as much as I do to offer, and I name myself after a piece of poop hanging from butt hair. That doesn’t say much about Moose.

  • rugby_fan // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:29 pm

Demonbeck should get a bonus for the use of genitalia in a comment and extra points for making it animal genitalia.

  • jkga // Mar 26, 2007 at 2:35 pm

White Male Voters didn’t sit out 2006, they just came to their senses. :)

  • Icarus // Mar 26, 2007 at 3:37 pm

Perhaps we could have a BullMoose/Cyndie Coates thread, where GOPeach could post three times that’s she’s not Cyndie, then reference Cyndie in the first person, and Bull could respond that John McCain would make a fine Cobb County Chairman.

Love the card Demonbeck. Available at Hallmark?

  • Bull Moose // Mar 26, 2007 at 3:51 pm

Okay, I was one of the ORIGINAL contributors here back in the summer of 2006.

I bring as much to the discussion as anyone else does.

Bull Moose was selected as my name because I respect Teddy Roosevelt.

Jeff doesn’t like the way I communicate. I’m sorry Jeff feels that way - personally I think Jeff writes well.

Erick is great to have started this blog with Clayton in the first place. What would GA Politics be without THIS blog!

  • Demonbeck // Mar 26, 2007 at 3:52 pm

    Thanks Icarus.

These cards are available at Hallmark, just not in Hallmark, you have to purchase them from the trash cans behind the store.

  • joshdondich // Mar 26, 2007 at 4:00 pm

As long as Bull Moose agrees to controll his comments and does turn Peach Pundit into Mccain 08 Centeral. I would let him back as a poster

  • GAWire // Mar 26, 2007 at 4:41 pm

    >>”"”Bull Moose has about as much as I do to offer, and I name myself after a piece of poop hanging from butt hair.”"”

Everyone in my office is wondering wtf I am laughing so loud about. How the heck do I respond to that?!?

I’m seriously nominating that quote for the funniest thing ever said on PP when Demon does the next Annual Peach Pundit Awards!!!!

  • GAWire // Mar 26, 2007 at 4:44 pm

Seriously, I’m done for the day … I can’t do anything b/c I keep reading dingleberry’s quote and laughing my ass off.

    Check please.

  • shep1975 // Mar 26, 2007 at 4:51 pm

I’m tied of talking about Moose. Let’s talk about Squirrel.

  • Bull Moose // Mar 26, 2007 at 4:56 pm

    This isn’t a national blog, it’s a GA blog, I understand that.

Shep, who is squirrel? We used to say if we didn’t trust someone they were squirrely…

  • rugby_fan // Mar 26, 2007 at 5:07 pm

I think half of what is being said about Bull Moose is uncalled for and inappropriate.

  • Icarus // Mar 26, 2007 at 5:12 pm

    Bull,

Perhaps you’ve heard the phrase, “Kill Moose and Squirrel”. If not, it means they’re all saying it behind your back.

  • Doug Deal // Mar 26, 2007 at 5:53 pm

    Bull,

Ask Boris and Natasha. They were absolutely obsessed about them.

    Rugby,

Way to hedge. So what does that make the other half? And is it the good or the bad things that fall into the half you disagree with? You have a bright career in politics!

  • RuralDem // Mar 26, 2007 at 6:11 pm

I’d rather have Bull Moose on the front page than most posters. He might be repetitive, but most of the others are as well. At least Bull Moose can see both sides and doesn’t just bash the Democrats or just bash the Republicans. Erick is another commonsense poster that although he is a member of one party, he does not take every single word they say or every action they make as truth.

  • Mad Dog // Mar 26, 2007 at 7:46 pm

    Let the Bull Loose!

  • rugby_fan // Mar 26, 2007 at 7:48 pm

Let the Bull and the Dog free!

    Woof.

  • shep1975 // Mar 26, 2007 at 9:59 pm

Come on RuralDem. Most of the Republican bashing on here is done by other Republicans!

  • Brian from Ellijay // Mar 26, 2007 at 11:55 pm

Bull doesn’t deserve front page status, how many times has it been yanked from him now? This is what the 3rd time? He does not learn his lessons.

Plus he blatantly supports(not a problem) and posts press releases for candidates repeatedly to the point of nonsense.

Keep the bull in the pen.

  • Bull Moose // Mar 27, 2007 at 10:20 am

The only press releases I’ve ever put up are those from Casey Cagle during the primary. Get over it Brian.

  • dingleberry // Mar 27, 2007 at 10:39 am

    Bull,

You give it up. No one wants your Press Release-Reciting rear end back on the front page. We want people who actually add original thoughts to the dialogue.

  • GAWire // Mar 27, 2007 at 12:23 pm

    >>”"”He might be repetitive, but most of the others are as well”"”

Bull shouldn’t be on the front page.

Bull shouldn’t be on the front page.

Bull shouldn’t be on the front page.

Bull shouldn’t be on the front page.

Bull shouldn’t be on the front page.

Bull shouldn’t be on the front page.

… who says we’re all repetitive?!?

  • ugavi // Mar 29, 2007 at 12:18 pm

    Nice article in PI.

  • Brian from Ellijay // Mar 29, 2007 at 3:20 pm

Bull is big time now, officially on the McCain team, huh Clint?

  • Mad Dog // Mar 29, 2007 at 4:31 pm

    Free the Bull!

  • whitemalevoters // Mar 29, 2007 at 5:37 pm

With your honesty today, Clint, you have officially won the endorsement of white male voters across the State of Georgia.

  • Demonbeck // May 1, 2008 at 4:57 pm

I think Peach Pundit should boycott the Olympics until China recognizes a free Bull Moose.
