Rugby,

It's nice to be missed. We have been busy lobbying our representatives and senators to introduce more pro-white male voter legislation. So far, it seems be be working.

Steve, your Liberal bias has led you to omit the Hunt for Red October and Days of Thunder from that list. ;-)

Though perhaps the latter shouldn't ever be mentioned again...

The GOP faithful are so starved for a palatable candidate that they are REALLY getting grassroots excitement going for... Fred Thompson?

The one-term Senator, Fred Thompson?

Bruce Willis' reluctant ally in "Die Hard 2", Fred Thompson?

Never really did anything memorable except gripe about Bill Clinton getting a BJ, Fred Thompson?

Direct to video with Lou Gossett, Jr. in "Iron Eagle III", Fred Thompson?

Man oh man, if you had told me five years ago that I would see a female President in my lifetime I probably would have laughed... but I don't think that anything can derail the Hillary Express at this point. The Republicans just haven't been off in the wilderness long enough to pull things together yet.

Then again, the most active commenters on Peach Pundit (i.e. Gwinnett County Republicans) are the same folks who like to float Sonny's name for VP candidate from time to time. I think the moral is that this site is great for local politics, but completely useless for matters of a national level.

For the record, McCain and Giuliani are neck and neck in Iowa and McCain is 4 points ahead in New Hampshire.

That depends on what poll you are looking at...

And McCain has predicted he hasn't gotten the money for the 1/4 ending March, 07.

What does that mean?

Icarus, you're right, I put it in RedHot. Your thoughts here, though, would work well in a user diary there. Feel free to write one up; you've already got most of one just in your comments on this thread :-)

Icarus, I think that Republicans may "wish" themselves into losing. Bush blew it essentially as President and now there is a lot of hand wringing. I'm one of them, but I was for McCain in 2000.

By the way, where is Maurice?

Based on the sentiments I saw in Gwinnett today, you are probably one of three people in Georgia supporting McCain.

I do respect your opinion, and your dedication.

However, McCain can't beat the democrats if he can't get the nomination.
