Special Election on June 19th

The special election to fill the seat left by Congressman Charlie Norwood will likely be set for June 19th, which means State Senators Jim Whitehead and Ralph Hudgens will be able to finish this session of the legislature.

There are going to be a lot of candidates in this race. It should also be noted that the Libertarian Party is looking to run their first candidate in a Congressional election here in Georgia. Since this is a special election, Georgia’s typical draconian ballot access requirements do not apply.
