Obama will never run as VP… he’s already said so and I see no reason why he would. “Condi” is in the same boat. This is a pretty shabby list and “no one is covering this race” because the VP candidates will more than likely be determined in the primaries.

Plus, nobody runs for VP 21 months before the election.

Anyway, Sonny isn’t on their list, so what does this have to do with Georgia?

  2. drjay says:

the fact that sonny is not mentioned is tangentially tied to ga politics b/c here and a couple of other places have been going on ad nauseum about the idea of either sonny or saxby being the number on the gop ticket next year–interesting to see a non ga-centric source omit them both entirely…

i’m not sure if erick’s comment is directed towards me or moose–but i will clarify my statement–perhaps it would have been more obvious if moose said “interesting that politcalwire isn’t noticing sonny’s auditions for vp” or something like that. adam asked what this has to do w/ ga–i simply noted that sonny’s (and saxby’s) abscence from the list was indeed about ga politics in as much as i found it interesting that in places like the ajc and here the possibility of either has come up more than once and thought it interesting that noone else nationally seems to notice…does that make more sense???

It is a commentary on GA Politics and this blog.

Sonny makes a trip to Washington to beg for money. The political spin? He’s got a spot on the presidential ticket.

The reality, he’s lied about having $500 million dollar budget surplus.

Which item get talked about on this blog.

    Sonny for VP.

    Any questions?

  5. Bull Moose says:

Sorry Erick, the only reason I posted it was because of all the hyperbole surrounding the rumors of Sonny as a potential VP… Should have made that more clear as the reason for the post…
