This isn't the same as the foreign language classes in school systems....those classes are funding via QBE The Governor has a history of killing programs that aren't statewide. I tend to agree with him on this issue. He is putting the money back into QBE media which means school systems CAN put the money into the foreign languages area. Plus I hear his IE2 task force is looking at a foreign language component. I can't believe a $1.5 million redirection of funds is causing an uproar. Judging by what I hear from the kid's today and our state's continued placement near or in the sewer of the 50 states, one might assume that they aren't really capable of being more than EMR.
