Curtis is dead. Jack killed him (“those bastards! they killed Kenny”). A nuke has gone off in Valencia, CA, dramatically improving the odds for the GOP by decreasing the number of liberals in one ash inducing blast. The muslim radicals still have four more and CAIR has its panties in a wad because it can’t comprehend that not all muslims are terrorists who want to destroy America, but all terrorists who want to destroy America are muslims.

    8 1/2, two today alone!

As an aside, and apropos to absolutely nothing, 8 1/2 is my favorite Fellini movie.

Oh, and avoid alliterations at any cost.

I agree about the helicopter scene; I am not sure what purpose it played.

I think President Palmer’s sister is one of the weakest cast members.

For the record, I’m pretty liberal and I think 24 is the best show on television. Hands down.

I’m not as convinced of the Presidential gravitas of the new Palmer. David Palmer was the best, but Wayne is not a terrific substitute. I guess I still think of Wayne as Chief of Staff.

And the idea that Graham, the guy who was working with Logan last season, is Jack’s brother is crazy. So is the idea that James Cromwell will play his father. Great stuff.

I wonder when the Logans will come back into the fold.

Has the season jumped the shark? I’ve had an email debate going. Between the heligoflopter scene and the brother being the baddie along with probably Zefram Cochrane, who is also Jack’s dad, it is possible.

But I’m told all will be revealed and it will be good.

it was not a great scene–but i thought the point of the helicopter was that it jolted jack back to reality–put him in the here and now–it was right after that he called buchanan and said he was back in play. that was how i interped it as i was watching…
