Apparently the Taylor campaign copied a Perdue autocall and began calling GOP voters with it multiple times beginning this morning at 6 am. Clearly the “get ten of your kin” campaign is not working too well.

Guess Mark learned that tactic from the national Republicans. See here:

ColinATL, are you really implying that simply because national republicans have used this harassing tactic before that it excuses this new low by the Big Guy? The GAGOP nor the Perdue campaign has used or even endorsed these tactics. Isn’t it sad when you running a failing campaign without any ideas so you switch your tactic to negative attacks. That doesn’t work, so you then switch to harassing voters? That’s what the Big Guys did.
Taylor is an unlikable candidate without any true grassroots support. The campaign is disorganized and poorly excuted. Today, “get ten of your kin and put the Big Guy back in — Albany” as the Governor said Sunday in the debate.
politicalpundit,
I did not intend to diminish or excuse what Taylor is doing. If the reports are true (no link from buzzbrockway to verify it), then it is utterly indistinguishable from what the national Repubs are doing. And Taylor should be called on it.
And I don’t disagree with you about your assessment of Taylor’s non-campaign. All my friends who were supporting Taylor kept saying how he was such a better campaigner than Cathy, which really hasn’t been born out in this race.
Really, I just think it’s interesting that desperate national Republicans and desperate local Democrats are employing the same crapulent dirty tricks…
Umm, yeah, the slightest bit of EVIDENCE would be nice … if it;s not too much to ask.
Any bets on how long his wife will hang around if “10 and their kin” send the “BIG” guy back to Albany???? She has more ambition to be the First Lady than he has to be Governor…if that is possible.
Disappointing if true, but I’m not even expecting Georgia to follow the national trend. Too smotheringly Republican down here.
