Konop writes -- "That is why I offered Tom Price a free editorial blog like Steve Sinton had even though he did not buy advertisement from me as Sinton did."

You might want to let Steve know that he is supposed to report ad buys in his disclosure...or was that an in-kind contribution, one dem helping another?

"Supposedly, the pay-off is that Hayes gets a job in the Taylor administration and Taylor will change state election rules making it easier for Libertarian candidates to get onto ballots."

At the end of the debate, seemed like Garrett Hayes wasn't to fond of the surmising on his part. Said something about bloodying somebody up I think.......

Conservativecore,

You never respond to the question regarding the huge national deficit which Tom Price voted to do.

I don't know why anyone would vote for a Republican incumbent this election on the national level.

If Taylor were to get elected, the legislature is going to be controlled by the GOP. Ballot access laws can only be changed by the legislature and they aren't going to do it because Taylor asks them to.

There is no plot. You have absolutely nothing here.

Oh but Taylor does have something to offer. Supposedly, the pay-off is that Hayes gets a job in the Taylor administration and Taylor will change state election rules making it easier for Libertarian candidates to get onto ballots.

Are you starting to warm up to this deal?

The fix is in and Perdue is out. Here’s the (rumored) scenario: Hayes takes enough of a bite out of Perdue to force a Perdue / Taylor run-off.

Except, Hayes has ALREADY cut a deal to throw his support behind Taylor during the run-off. That, combined with the serious money the Democratic Party is poised to throw at Taylor, and Perdue falls.

And now “Real Republican

I think both parties are bought off by the lobbyist money changers in Washington. The Wall Street Journal did a great article about this topic.

We need to change the system to make it more open in the primaries as well as third Parties. I would suggest the following;

3 mandatory debates in primaries and general election on Public TV and Radio for federal and State wide office. The feed should be given to private media where they could play it and sell air time.

Congressman should be banned from having PACS.

Ban Corporation and Unions from giving money only U.S. registered voters.

Lower the signature requirement for third Parties.

Congressman should only be able to spend money on their own campaign.

Office holders should only be able to keep 10% of the war chest left over from a campaign. They can donate the rest to charity.

This is just a few ideas.

BTW

I do think the endorcement hurts Sonny because it is in the heart of strong Republican area. I am sure the Hayes camp likes having Bart Brannon the VC of the Republican Party and editor of the newspaper paper as an example of Republicans not happy with out of control spending.

I love that statement, about the art of compromise. We Libertarians sometimes struggle with that . If we could get better at that we would win elections more often. BTW Garrett is doing a show with Dennis O hara today. I do not know when it will be shown.I have been told perdue will not be there but Taylor will.

You have no idea what I think. Or for whom I voted. What is clear from your rants is that you have little to no idea how governing works. Politics is fun and a contact sport but governing and good governance is the art of compromise.
