A little more detail on Marshall’s “Top 10 campaign award”

In trumpeting the “Award” supposedly given the Marshall campaign by the WaPo, there’s a bit that Bobby Kahn happened to leave out — the part that says:

The choices are informed by an informal poll of consultants, campaign operatives and other political junkies. This list is meant as a starting point for discussion — it’s not meant to be definitive or comprehensive. And, it’s not meant to be predictive of the election outcome; candidates can run great races and lose.

(Emphasis added)

I’m not denigrating the Marshall campaign in any way — nor am I saying that the points made about him in the article weren’t pretty good ones.

What I am saying is let’s not put the cart before the horse here. No “award” has been handed out — and there won’t be a final judgment on the actual, real-world effectiveness of the Marshall campaign until at least the night of November 7.

Thank you for the clarification, I read over that article and was a little confused over the qualifications.

The “facts” quoted by BK (Bobby Kahn, not Burger King) were of no problem for me to decipher.

Bobby used to get to hang out in the Capitol, and will do or say anything to possibly get to hang out there again.

So why bother to listen to his crap……he is a hack.

    Gator,

You are right. He is a hack but he is not a strict middling hack. He is just a strict good ordinary hack. Now Gator, let’s see how many of the commenters know what I am talking about.

    Big Mack,
You got me on that one. I just label him as a hack. When someone is doing a hatchet job on somebody, they just hack away at whatever they can. Hack….. hack hack…… hack hack hack hack.

Whatever kind of hack he is, he just wants to be a hacking back at the Capitol, and maybe that ain’t gonna happen.

Maybe somebody will expand on what you mention though, I’m curious to know.

I do remember that Mayor of Washington, D.C., Marion Berry, he was a crack hack it seemed…..lol
Democrats, they’ll vote for anybody, and then vote for them again.
