Quote of the Day: Denise Majette Edition

So sayeth candidate for any race being held candidate for State School Superintendant Denise Majette:

You just never know which vote will take you over the top

I wonder if she knows, for her, that vote does not exist.

In all seriousness, let me be wild for a second and go ahead and call this race for Cathy, erm, Kathy Cox.

I bet she does worse than her ’04 campaign this year. Any takers?

  1. Mojo says:

Didn’t Majette also say, in her debate with the even more hapless Carlotta Harrell, that she didn’t see why it was important or necessary to have experience as a teacher before becoming St. School Super.?

  2. leftrightcombo says:

Maybe Denise is smarter than eveyone gives her credit for. She knows that after this second loss she will never ever never be allowed to run for office again and can stay home for good!

  3. gatormathis says:

Actually, Schrenko did very well at her position until the last year when she had higher aspirations. That was her undoing, trying to step to high to fast. Now only she knows how bad her situation has become, and no doubt she would love to go back and not do all those stupid things again.

Kinda reminds you of the ole “Branded” show with Chuck Connors, probably can’t get much worse for Linda.

  4. rugby_fan says:

OK look, all this talk about what Schrenko did or what Majette said is pointless, who is willing to accept a friendly wager that DM pulls less than 40%?

  5. RandyMiller says:

Question: Who talked her into running for the senate back in 2004 after only one term in the house? I refuse to think she did that on her own. House member’s not too shabby a job, and as I recall she was a good congreswoman and well liked.

  6. atlantaman says:

“Linda Schrenko, worst GA officer ever.”

She’s definitley up there, but I think if you went back to the days of riding in the back of the bus, lynchings and “white only” drinking fountains you might be able to find one or two GA officers who were worse then Schrenko.
