    I think it is a better idea to try to catch them in middle school, or better yet, elementary school b/c once in high school most kids who are at risk for dropping out aren’t going to listen to some school social worker telling them they need to stay in school.

    But, I have a question, shouldn’t the teachers and guidance counselors already be doing this? Why do we need to add another layer to the equation? Is more bureaucracy really the answer? Why do I keep asking questions?
