Bill Simon and ASH, together at last.

by Buzz Brockway on September 28, 2006

Our friend and Political Vine publishing magnate Bill Simon now has his very own Wikipedia entry. So does Cobb GOP Chair, and multi-media magnate in his own right, Anthony-Scott Hobbs.

The entry on Bill seems fixated on Bill’s “fixations” while the entry on Hobbs declares he is:

…widely considered (State GOP Chairman Alec) Poitevint’s likely successor in 2007.

Oh My! I’m not so sure about that.

I’m also not sure who is responsible for these two Wikipedia entries, though I would suspect these were done by people friendly to Hobbs. Nevertheless, congratulations to both men. :-)

ASH is not going to be the successor to Alec Poitevint in 2007 or any other year. He’s much to important in his own Yankee way to be able to enamor himself to us southern rednecks. He’s just a physically larger version of Ralphie and that BS is not going to fly anymore. By the way, I heard in Waycross last night that Sadie, Pat Tippett, Kay Godwin and Nancy Schaeffer are headed for the capitol next week to announce the foundation of their replacement organization for the Georgia Christian Coalition. I do not know what it will be called; but with this bunch I think that the Non Christian Coalition is appropriate.

Virginia Galloway held a press conference today to announce the start of Americans for Prosperity in Georgia.

ASH has as much chance of succeeding Alec as Georgia Tech does winning the national championship this year.

WOW! It’s a done deal then? ;-)

Yes it is a done deal….. When ASH get elected he’s going to appoint Simon as his communications director :)

I thought ASH was supporting Sue Everhart.

I wish I had seen this thread before I had lunch with him today.

Wait…someone’s edited Anthony’s entry! Quick, does anyone know the whereabouts of Cathy Cox’s former campaign manager?

Congrat to Bill Simon for becoming quasi-famous! Fabulous!

I just saw the entry. Apparently it was just edited by someone named S. Bimon. The entry added, “Bill Simon and ASH - Best Friends, 4-ever!!!”

I am not sure how one should read into that.
